Election Petition For AMC Pilots Filed at the NMB

A petition for election has been filed with the National Mediation Board. Management must post a "Notice to Employees" at all bases. The notice contains information about the petition and your legal rights to form a union. Please take the time to read the important information provided on the notice.

Management must also submit to the NMB a list of potential voters by 10 July 03. All pilots hired after the payroll period prior to 25 June 03 are not eligible to vote.

Beware - the union busting is about to begin in full force. Things that you can expect to happen include, base visits from management, possible wage and benefit enhancements, antiunion literature, the spreading of misinformation and other countermeasures from management to try and persuade you to vote against yourself.
