Election Results

On 15 September 2003 the NMB conducted the vote tally of the AMC union election. There where 540 eligible voters. 271 votes where needed to win. The OPEIU received 298 votes.

AMC management refused to sign the tally sheet and voiced a verbal objection about the NMB telephonic voting process. The NMB currently uses the telephonic voting process for all elections.

After all NMB elections there is a seven-day (7) waiting period to allow the losing party the opportunity to file objections to the conduct of the election.

AMC did not file objections to the conduct of the election and OPEIU has been certified by the NMB as the union representative for the AMC pilots.
